Description
The Company
Faraday Future (FF) is a California-based embodied artificial intelligence ecosystem company, leveraging the latest technologies and world's best talent to realize exciting new possibilities in mobility and robotics. We're producing user-centric, technology-first vehicles and robots to establish new paradigms in human-AI interaction. At FF, we're creating something new, something connected, and something with a true global impact.
Your Role
We are looking for new graduates who are AI-native: people who default to asking "can AI do this?" for every problem. As an Operations Specialist (AI Operations), you will embed with teams across the company, learn how work actually gets done, and rebuild it with AI tools, agents, and automation. You will write code when it is the fastest path, and use no-code tools when it is not. This is a fast-learning, high-ownership role at the front line of AI-driven transformation, where FF operations are the first proving ground for our own AI products.
Key Responsibilities
- Use AI tools (LLMs, AI agents, automation platforms) to support and optimize daily operational workflows
- Design, build, and ship AI-driven solutions that remove manual work across business processes, using scripts, APIs, and no-code/low-code tools
- Build internal tools, automations, dashboards, and LLM-driven reports for cross-functional teams
- Support content generation, data analysis, and reporting using AI
- Continuously test new AI tools and use cases, and turn the best ones into practical, repeatable operational applications
- Work with Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Business teams to identify operational bottlenecks and solve them with AI
- Track and evaluate the performance of AI-driven workflows (time saved, accuracy, adoption) and iterate
- Write clear documentation, playbooks, and best practices so AI-enabled workflows can be reused company-wide
- Support cross-departmental projects: track milestones, flag risks early, and keep stakeholders aligned
- Adapt communication for different audiences, from executive summaries to technical specs and team-level action plans
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree completed or expected within the next 6 months (or graduated within the past 12 months)
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or agent/automation frameworks, through projects, internships, coursework, or personal builds
- Working proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred) and comfort with APIs and data handling
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to turn an idea into a working solution quickly
- High learning agility, curiosity, and comfort with ambiguity and rapid iteration
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Ability to work 100% onsite in El Segundo, CA
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, RAG, or agent workflows
- Experience with no-code/low-code tools (Zapier, n8n, Notion AI, Airtable, etc.)
- Experience with SQL, data analysis, or BI/dashboard tools
- Internship, startup, hackathon, or open-source experience in a fast-paced environment
- Content creation or community operations experience
- A portfolio, GitHub, or demo of AI projects you have built
Target Majors
Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, EECS, Information Systems, Industrial/Systems Engineering, and Business/Analytics majors with strong technical project work. Preference for candidates who can code or major in CS.
$72,000-$75,000 Compensation Range
About this role
Faraday Future is seeking recent graduates or near-graduates to join its operations team as an AI-native problem solver. In this internship role, you'll work directly across engineering, product, marketing, and business teams to identify operational bottlenecks and rebuild workflows using AI tools, automation platforms, and code. Rather than supporting existing processes, you'll be designing and shipping solutions—writing Python scripts, building LLM-driven reports, creating internal dashboards, and testing emerging AI tools to find practical applications that stick company-wide.
This role demands hands-on technical skills: you'll need working proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred), comfort with APIs and data handling, and demonstrated experience with AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or agent frameworks through projects or coursework. You should be comfortable moving between low-code platforms (Zapier, Airtable, Notion AI) and custom code depending on what solves the problem fastest. Beyond technical ability, the role requires strong communication across audiences, high learning agility, and the ability to ship quickly in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.
The position is 100% onsite in El Segundo, California, with a compensation range of $72,000–$75,000. It's best suited for computer science, AI, data science, or engineering graduates who are curious about AI-driven transformation and want to see their work have immediate operational impact at a company using its own operations as a proving ground for AI products.
