BHE Pipeline Group consists of Berkshire Hathaway Energy’s interstate natural gas pipeline companies, BHE GT&S, Kern River Gas Transmission Company and Northern Natural Gas Company. Combined, BHE Pipeline Group operates approximately 21,200 miles of pipeline with a design capacity of approximately 21.1 billion cubic feet of natural gas per day, owns assets in 27 states and is an industry leader in natural gas transportation. BHE Pipeline Group also operates 22 natural gas storage facilities with a total working gas capacity of 515.6 billion cubic feet and a liquefied natural gas export, import and storage facility.

About this role

BHE Renewables is seeking a Systems Analyst to manage the operational technology infrastructure that keeps its natural gas pipeline and storage operations running reliably and securely. You'd own day-to-day administration and maintenance of OT applications and systems, handle asset lifecycle management, monitor system performance, and respond to operational issues. The role also requires you to take on cybersecurity responsibilities—managing certificates, endpoint protection, and vulnerability mitigation—while supporting the virtual infrastructure that underpins these critical systems.

This position demands someone with at least five years of hands-on experience administering OT or IT systems in complex operational environments, ideally backed by a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering. You'll need solid troubleshooting skills, strong communication abilities to work across technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, and a working knowledge of cybersecurity, virtualization, and system integration. The role involves balancing multiple concurrent projects and priorities, gathering and documenting requirements for OT initiatives, and serving as a liaison between customers, vendors, and internal teams.

The job is based in Salt Lake City and requires in-office work, including willingness to work outside normal hours and participate in on-call rotations to support critical infrastructure. This is a full-time position suited for someone who is self-motivated, comfortable with complex problem-solving, and ready to take ownership of systems that directly impact operations across BHE Pipeline Group's 21,200 miles of pipeline network.
