About this role

Ascension's Medical Assistant position in Caledonia involves supporting physicians and nurses across the full spectrum of clinical operations—from patient intake and vital signs monitoring to room preparation and supply management. You'll handle both direct patient care duties and the administrative backbone that keeps a practice running, including scheduling coordination, records management, and phone correspondence.

This role requires an RN license from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained before your hire date, plus BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross (which you'll need to obtain within 30 days if not already held). You'll also need three years of professional experience and one year of cumulative leadership experience. This combination of credentials and background suggests the role may involve more clinical responsibility and coordination than a typical medical assistant position.

You'd be joining Ascension, a large nonprofit Catholic health system with 99,000+ associates, recognized as a Military-Friendly Gold Employer and a top healthcare workplace. The position is full-time and in-office in Caledonia, Wisconsin.
