About this role

Isar Aerospace is building launch vehicles for small and medium-sized satellites, and they're looking for someone to establish and manage their crisis and business continuity frameworks from the ground up. In this role, you'd work within their corporate security function to develop processes that keep critical operations running through physical security incidents and other disruptions. You'll evaluate threats, design incident response measures, map out roles and responsibilities for crisis response, and lead implementation across the organization while coordinating with departments like cyber security, finance, and communications.

The position calls for either a university degree in crisis, risk, or security management with some practical experience—whether in corporate security, a consulting firm, or a security authority—or a trained security professional with several years under your belt. You'll need hands-on familiarity with risk analysis methods and frameworks, project and stakeholder management skills, and a grasp of process management and basic OSINT. Fluent German and very good English are essential. Prior experience running a crisis unit or working in a security operations center would be a plus.

This is a full-time, in-office role based in Parsdorf, Bavaria. Beyond standard benefits like 30 days of vacation, a company pension with 20% employer contribution, and subsidized lunches, Isar offers an employee share program, learning budget, childcare allowance, and flexible mobility options including the Deutschlandticket or JobRad bicycle leasing.
