Transport Security Specialist (f/m/d)

Mission Brief 

As our Transport Security Specialist, you’ll be part of the Isar Aerospace SE corporate security and will be responsible for the security of our assets during transport. You’ll proactively conceptualize operative security measures for the transport of valuable company assets between sites and ensure safe arrival at the destinations. You identify potential threat vectors and protect our goods by taking a holistic approach to transport security.

 

Your Role in Our Space Mission: 

• Develop and execute security concepts for the international transport of company assets, by land, water and air
• Collect relevant internal and publicly available information about the assets, routes, transport means, involved third parties and times from internal stakeholders, partners and security authorities to identify potential threats
• Implement individual protection and mitigation measures adjusted to the concrete security needs of company transports
• Instruct and coordinate service providers for security escorts, physical cargo protection and technical surveillance
• Monitor transport progress, intervene in case of interruptions and investigate in case of incidents
• Assist and consult in the implementation of relevant transport and logistics certificates like TAPA or ISO standards

 

Qualification Checklist 

• A university degree in security management or a related field with several years of practical experience, e.g., in corporate security, as a consultant at a security consulting firm, or as a member of a security authority or the military

or

• A trained security professional with several years of experience, e.g., as a key account manager at a security service provider
  • First experience in the management of transport security, supply chain security or product protection, e. g. by working or consulting for an import-export business, a logistics company, a carrier/courier, or a package delivery company
  • Good OSINT investigation skills
  • Basic knowledge about technical tracking/surveillance and physical cargo protection measures
  • Basic understanding of logistics industry standards, regulations and certifications
  • Fluent German and very good English skills, both spoken and written

Bonus skills:

• Completed state security clearance in a previous position
• Experience in project management in the field of critical infrastructures
