About this role
Metropolitan Management Group's Sales & Marketing Specialist role centers on driving awareness and leasing for residential developments, particularly within the Haverford Square division. You'll spend significant time in the field building relationships with local employers, community organizations, and prospective residents through direct outreach, networking events, and partnership development. The work involves coordinating across multiple internal teams—digital marketing, property management, leasing, and development—to execute launch plans, manage referral pipelines, and represent the company at community events and job fairs.
Content creation is a core part of the position. You'll capture property photography and video, develop social media content for platforms like Instagram and TikTok, and coordinate promotional campaigns with the marketing and leasing teams. Event planning and execution also feature prominently, from open houses and grand openings to employer tours and pop-ups. The role requires strong organizational skills, reliable follow-through on independent initiatives, and the ability to track and report on outreach activities, partnerships, and results weekly.
The ideal candidate is a confident networker comfortable with in-person relationship building and has 2+ years of marketing, sales, business development, or community outreach experience—ideally in multifamily or real estate. You'll need a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field (or equivalent demonstrated experience), proficiency with Microsoft Office and content creation tools, a valid driver's license, and occasional availability for evening or weekend events. The position is full-time and based in Philadelphia, with standard benefits including medical/dental/vision coverage, 401k matching, PTO, and a bonus program.
