About this role

Frazier & Deeter is seeking a Tax Senior Associate to join its tax department in Plymouth, Minnesota on a hybrid basis. In this role, you'll move beyond individual tax preparation into a position that blends technical expertise with team leadership. You'll prepare and review tax returns across multiple entity types—individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and tax-exempt organizations—while also mentoring junior staff and handling complex tax research, planning, and client advisory work. The position involves direct client interaction, IRS correspondence, and support for specialized areas like stock option planning, international tax matters, and transaction-related tax implications.

This role suits someone with 2 to 6 years of progressive public accounting experience and a CPA license (or active pursuit of one). You'll need strong analytical skills to interpret complex tax regulations, the ability to juggle multiple client matters without sacrificing accuracy, and clear communication skills for both written client correspondence and in-person presentations. The firm emphasizes mentoring and professional development, so you should be comfortable guiding less experienced associates while continuing to deepen your own expertise.

The salary range is $80,000 to $115,000. Frazier & Deeter is a Top 50 accounting and advisory firm with offices across the U.S., UK, and India, and has received recognition as a Best Firm to Work For and Best Firm for Women, suggesting a workplace that invests in its people's growth and inclusion.
