About this role
MissionOne Media's Strategy & Intelligence department is looking for an operations leader to manage the backbone of their strategy work—coordinating projects, vendors, budgets, and cross-functional teams across the organization. You'd own vendor relationships (Mintel, Waldo, Vytal, and others), manage project timelines and deliverables, handle research participant logistics, and track expenses for client billing. The role requires you to juggle multiple concurrent projects while serving as the central point of contact between Strategy, Finance, Legal, and external partners, keeping stakeholders informed on budget, scope, and timeline risks.
This position suits someone with at least five years of operations or project management experience who thrives in a detail-oriented, fast-moving environment. You'll need strong communication skills to influence across all organizational levels, the ability to manage ambiguity and solve problems creatively, and a collaborative mindset. The company emphasizes mentorship and professional development, offering coaching to help you build business acumen in agency financials, staffing efficiency, vendor negotiation, and eventually lead a profit center or department.
The role is full-time and in-office in Kansas City, with a salary range of $80,000 to $105,000, plus health insurance, flexible PTO, life insurance, and 401(k).
