About this role
DTCC's Information Technology group is seeking an experienced environment management engineer to provide operational support for development, QA, and testing infrastructure that underpins the global capital markets. This hybrid role (based in Hyderabad with three days onsite) involves handling day-to-day incidents, service requests, and standard environment operations—managing access provisioning, system restarts, data refreshes, batch monitoring, and alert response across non-production systems. You'll work with ticketing systems like Jira or ServiceNow, execute documented runbooks, support application teams during testing cycles, and coordinate troubleshooting across infrastructure and development teams.
The position requires eight or more years in infrastructure, environment, or application support roles, with hands-on experience in non-production environments. You should have working knowledge of IBM MQ, WebSphere or Tomcat application servers, Linux/Unix systems administration, and monitoring tools. Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills are essential, as is comfort with shift work including weekends. Basic scripting experience and familiarity with middleware technologies are valued additions.
DTCC offers competitive base pay plus annual incentive, comprehensive health and life insurance, pension benefits, and flexible paid time off. The role suits someone with substantial infrastructure support experience who is ready to deepen expertise in enterprise middleware and application environments while working within a structured, process-driven operational framework.
