About this role
Bozzuto is seeking a Senior Assistant Property Manager for its Stamford community—a second-in-command role that blends operational execution with genuine people leadership. You'll handle the financial side of property management (rent collection, delinquency tracking, budget awareness) while also driving occupancy through personalized resident tours and maintaining the community's physical and cultural standards. This is a hands-on position where you'll step in to lead the team when the General Manager is absent, mentor staff, solve resident issues, and occasionally cover operational gaps yourself.
The ideal candidate brings at least two years in property management, hospitality, or retail, plus a four-year degree or equivalent experience. You'll need proficiency with property management software (YARDI is preferred), comfort with social media content creation, strong communication skills, and a sales mindset. The role requires weekend availability one to two times monthly, with corresponding weekday time off. Your success depends on balancing attention to detail with the ability to think quickly in a fast-paced environment, and on genuinely connecting with residents and staff.
Bozzuto offers competitive compensation between $68,000 and $72,000, plus bonus opportunities, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage; 20 days of paid time off; 401k matching; and tuition reimbursement for professional development.
