About this role

Ascension's Indianapolis clinic needs someone to manage the front-office operations that directly shape how patients experience care. You'd handle check-in and check-out, verify patient demographics and insurance information, process authorizations and payments, and coordinate scheduling and medical records requests. The role sits at the intersection of hospitality and clinical accuracy—your work ensures both that patients feel welcomed and that their records are complete and correct from day one.

The position requires a high school diploma or one year of relevant front-office experience in a medical setting. No special licensure or certification is needed. If you've worked in medical administration before, you'll recognize the core responsibilities; if you're entering the field, this role offers a structured entry point into healthcare operations at a major nonprofit health system. The full-time, in-office position is part of Ascension's float pool staffing model, which typically means flexibility in assignment across clinic locations.
