About this role

Picnic is looking for an internal promotion from its Captain ranks to lead daily operations at the Zwolle fulfillment center. If you're already part of the Picnic team and ready to step into a supervisory role, this position splits your time between hands-on warehouse management and process improvement work.

Three days a week you'll be on the floor ensuring trucks depart on schedule, orders ship complete, and your Captain team stays motivated and supported. The other two days move you into a project management capacity, where you'll drive data-informed efficiency improvements across the facility in collaboration with other teams. You'll also serve as team lead for a subset of staff, handling check-ins and reviews. The role demands someone who stays composed under pressure, communicates well in English (Dutch a plus), and can flex across morning, afternoon, and weekend shifts.

This is a contract position suited to someone already embedded in Picnic's operations who's ready for the next career step. The company offers 25 vacation days, transport benefits, retirement savings, and leadership training as part of the package. The application deadline is October 30th at 09:00.
