Description

About Vercel:

Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.

Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide.

About the role

As a GTM Engineer, you'll build the AI apps and workflows that Vercel's Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Data teams use to drive revenue. You'll work directly with those teams to find where go-to-market work is slow or manual, then ship production software on Vercel's AI Cloud that fixes it. You'll ship code daily and turn what top performers do into systems the whole org runs on. In your first 6 to 12 months, success means GTM teams rely on the tools you've built every day, and the guides you've published help other teams build their own. This is a hybrid role with 3 in-office days per week in San Francisco, New York City, or Austin.

What you'll do

  • Build and ship AI apps and workflows on Vercel's AI Cloud for Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Data teams
  • Find the highest-cost pain points across GTM teams and ship solutions that remove them
  • Turn the workflows of top-performing GTM teammates into systems the whole org uses
  • Test new Vercel features as an internal customer and give product feedback to engineering
  • Publish best practices, guides, and examples for building GTM tools on Vercel's AI Cloud

What you need

  • 4+ years of full-stack development experience
  • Shipped a Next.js app to production that real users depend on
  • Built and shipped features on AI model APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or the v0 API
  • Hands-on experience deploying and running projects on Vercel
  • Worked directly with non-technical business teams to scope and ship internal tools

Bonus if you

  • Have built an AI agent
  • Have built features with the AI SDK
  • Have published blog posts or videos explaining technical concepts

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation package, including equity.
  • Inclusive Healthcare Package.
  • Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
  • Flexible Time Off.
  • We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $180,000 - $295,000. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. About this role

Vercel is hiring a GTM Engineer to build AI-powered applications and workflows that directly support the company's revenue-generating teams. You'll work closely with Sales, Marketing, Success, and Data to identify customer pain points and ship solutions using Vercel's AI Cloud platform. The role is hands-on: you'll ship code daily, test new features, gather feedback from users and internal teams, and help scale best practices across the organization. You'll report to the Director of GTM Engineering and work in a hybrid arrangement with in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday if you're near one of Vercel's offices (San Francisco, New York City, Austin, London, or Berlin); otherwise fully remote.

This role is built for a full-stack engineer with at least four years of production experience and a solid grasp of the Vercel ecosystem. You should have shipped a Next.js app with real users, worked with AI models and APIs like OpenAI or Anthropic, and be comfortable moving quickly in a cross-functional environment. Experience building AI agents, automating workflows with AI, or publishing technical content would strengthen your candidacy, though these aren't required.

The position offers competitive salary ($180,000–$295,000 in San Francisco, adjusted by location), equity, healthcare, mentorship, professional development opportunities, flexible time off, and equipment support for remote work.
