About this role
Wyld's Production Lead role in Kansas City oversees daily operations across the company's production facility, managing everything from equipment maintenance and line efficiency to quality control and team coordination. You'd report to Operations and Logistics Managers, train new staff on procedures, assign tasks, troubleshoot machinery, and ensure finished products meet standards before moving to fulfillment. The role also requires familiarity with METRC (the cannabis seed-to-sale tracking system) and responsibility for batch labeling and regulatory compliance.
This position suits someone with hands-on production line experience—ideally in cannabis—who thrives on organization, clear communication, and solving problems directly. You'll need to balance supporting day-to-day operations with planning ahead alongside senior leadership, delegating effectively to support staff, and maintaining the kind of workspace discipline that prevents issues before they start. The role demands reliability, integrity, and the ability to navigate team dynamics thoughtfully while staying data-informed.
The job is full-time, in-office Monday through Friday day shift at the Kansas City facility, with compensation of $20 per hour plus medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k program, PTO, eight paid holidays, and parental leave.
