About this role

United Vein & Vascular Centers is launching a new clinic in Manhattan in early 2027, and this Medical Receptionist role offers the chance to be part of that ground-floor opening. You'll start training in mid-December 2026, handling the full spectrum of front-desk operations: patient check-in, insurance verification, payment processing, appointment scheduling, and records management across both paper files and the EMR system. The role requires attention to HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality as core responsibilities, along with the interpersonal skills needed to support patients in a vascular care setting.

The position calls for at least two years of medical administrative or assisting experience, a high school diploma or GED, and comfort with Microsoft Office and medical software (ECW experience is a bonus). You'll need to thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggle competing priorities, and communicate clearly with both patients and clinical staff. One notable requirement: you'll spend up to two weeks training at an existing UVVC location out of state before the New York clinic opens.

UVVC emphasizes culture and career development, offering competitive benefits including health, vision, and dental coverage, a 401(k) match, fully company-paid life insurance, and paid time off. The salary is $25 per hour, with total compensation potentially including bonuses based on experience.
