About this role
Ascension's Nashville cardiac imaging center is seeking a registered nurse to work independently and collaboratively in a specialized stress testing environment. You'll manage high-level non-invasive imaging procedures—CCTAs, nuclear stress tests, stress echoes, tilt tables, and stress MRIs—while monitoring patients in real time, adapting care plans as their condition changes, and communicating critical updates to the broader care team. This role demands precision in executing physician and nursing orders while maintaining strict adherence to cardiovascular protocols and safety standards.
The position requires a current RN license from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or a multi-state compact license from your home state, along with BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross (which must be obtained within 30 days of your start date if not already current). You'll need a nursing diploma or degree from an accredited program. This is a full-time, in-office role suited to experienced nurses who are comfortable working independently in a fast-paced clinical setting and who take ownership of patient advocacy and precise execution of care.
