About this role
CBIZ is seeking a Senior Account Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of retirement plan clients in Houston. You would own the full scope of plan administration—from compliance testing and Form 5500 preparation to asset reconciliation, contribution allocations, and required minimum distributions. The role demands both technical depth and client-facing skill: you'll resolve complex plan issues, respond promptly to sponsors, and actively manage relationships to retain business and identify growth opportunities.
This position requires at least five years of hands-on retirement plan administration and compliance experience, with demonstrated expertise in ERISA and IRS/DOL regulations. Ideally you hold or are pursuing QPA or QKA credentials and have worked with FT William software. You should be comfortable reviewing others' work for accuracy, proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office, and capable of learning new systems quickly. The role suits someone who combines technical rigor with strong communication skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines without losing sight of client needs.
