About this role

Commercial Comm & Electric is looking for a Prefab Technician to support its electrical prefabrication shop in Phoenix. You'd spend your day assembling, measuring, cutting, bending, and organizing electrical components—conduit assemblies, supports, brackets, and boxes—according to approved drawings and work instructions. The role is hands-on and detail-oriented: you'll prepare materials for delivery to job sites, check your work and others' for accuracy and quality, keep the shop organized, and coordinate with QA and field teams to keep production on track. Safety and clear communication matter; you're expected to flag unclear instructions, report hazards, and ask questions before mistakes happen.

This is an entry-level position that doesn't require prior experience, though a background in electrical work, construction, warehouse operations, or fabrication is a plus. You'll need mechanical aptitude, basic math and measuring skills, the ability to follow written instructions precisely, and a commitment to learning shop tools and equipment safely. A high school diploma or GED is preferred. The company, veteran and family-owned since 2010, values dependability and teamwork—they work with major general contractors and emphasize quality and safe practices across the board.
