About this role

Standish Management is looking for a Fund Controller to manage the financial operations and reporting for private equity and venture capital clients from their Seattle office. You'd work alongside an Engagement Manager to handle fund accounting, capital account maintenance, and financial statement preparation—overseeing audit and tax processes, managing investor capital calls and distributions, tracking portfolio company financings, and forecasting cash flow. The role also involves maintaining investor data in third-party systems and occasional travel to client sites.

The position calls for a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics and at least two years of public accounting experience. Private equity or venture capital background and knowledge of partnership accounting are preferred, as is a CPA. You'll need strong Excel, Word, and Outlook skills. Standish offers comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage; disability and parental leave plans; a 401k; flexible vacation; and a year-end office closure. The salary range is $85,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on your background and qualifications.
