About this role
Edged Infrastructure is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead product development for TurboCell and related power infrastructure technologies. You'd own the full hardware development lifecycle—from design and CFD/FEA analysis through prototype fabrication and testing—while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across quality, manufacturing, and vendor teams. The role requires you to generate technical documentation including drawings, BOMs, DFMEAs, and DVP&Rs, and to build out processes that support the broader engineering organization.
This position suits someone with at least 10 years developing durable goods at scale, ideally with experience in power switchgear and electronics. You'll need a strong grasp of NEC and UL standards (particularly UL2200 and UL9540), proficiency in 3D CAD modeling with SolidWorks, and the ability to lead design reviews and articulate complex designs clearly. The work splits between office and lab environments in Raleigh, with up to 25% travel expected and occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds.
Endeavour frames this as a chance to work on infrastructure solutions tied to AI and sustainability within a fast-paced, mission-driven organization. If you're drawn to both the technical depth of mechanical engineering and the broader purpose of transforming how infrastructure operates, this role offers autonomy and the chance to shape processes at a growing company.
