About this role
Working in Curaleaf's Mt. Dora cultivation facility as a Flower Associate means hands-on plant care during the flowering stage—pruning, defoliation, transplanting, feeding, and monitoring for pests and disease. You'll track cultivation records, support irrigation and nutrient systems, and help optimize plant quality and yield. When harvest events occur, you'll shift to cutting, hanging, weighing, and processing plants while maintaining compliance with state regulations.
This is physically demanding work. You'll be on your feet for 8–10 hours daily, regularly lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and performing repetitive bending and reaching in high-humidity environments with exposure to soil, fertilizers, dust, strong odors, and cleaning solvents. The Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–3:40 p.m. schedule is consistent, and the role requires attention to detail, reliability, and comfort following established processes.
The position suits someone with a genuine interest in plant cultivation—prior experience in agriculture, horticulture, greenhouse work, or landscaping is valued but not required. You'll earn $15.25 per hour as a full-time employee with benefits including PTO, parental leave, a 401(k), life and disability insurance, and product discounts. This is an entry point into a large, established cannabis company with room for career growth.
