About this role
Dexis Consulting Group is seeking a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist to support the CDC's Office of Monitoring and Evaluation within the Division of Global Health Protection. You would provide technical backbone to their global health security work, managing data systems, conducting analyses, and delivering evidence to inform program decisions across initiatives like the Field Epidemiology Training Program and other public health efforts. The role blends hands-on data work with stakeholder engagement—you'd maintain databases, train country offices and partners on monitoring tools, and travel internationally to provide technical assistance where needed.
This position requires a master's degree in public health, epidemiology, global health, or related field, plus at least four years of M&E experience in public health and two years specifically in global health security or international programs. You should be comfortable working with federal agencies, managing data collection systems and analytical tools, and communicating findings through reports and presentations. Experience with FETP, CDC partnerships, international technical assistance, or data visualization tools would strengthen your candidacy, though the core requirement is solid grounding in program monitoring and the ability to juggle multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
Based in Washington, DC with hybrid flexibility and potential international travel, the role offers a salary range of $80,000–$130,000 and standard benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, employer-funded HRA options, life and disability insurance, and an EAP. Note that this position is contingent upon funding award.
