About this role

Columbia Safety and Supply is hiring a Facility Maintenance Technician I to support CloudKitchens' growing network of commercial kitchen facilities across the Greater Miami area. This is field-based work maintaining modern, standardized facilities rather than bouncing between random jobs—you'll spend roughly 60% of your time on hands-on repairs like drywall, painting, tiling, and equipment installation, with the remaining time split between preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, plus site inspections and troubleshooting. You'll travel between multiple sites throughout the week but return home daily, working a standard Monday–Friday schedule with overtime opportunities available.

The role expects at least two years of hands-on maintenance or handyman experience and a working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical basics. You'll need a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Commercial facilities experience, restaurant or hospitality background, or trade certifications are valued but not required. The position offers independent work with support from experienced teams, a clear path to Senior Technician or management roles, and compensation of $18.75–$23.75 per hour plus overtime, full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and mileage reimbursement.
