About this role

At The Ritz-Carlton's Orlando location, this part-time dining room attendant role centers on maintaining the high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation that define the brand's service experience. You'll handle closing procedures—securing equipment, restocking, and completing detailed checklists—while also inspecting china, glassware, and silverware before service and keeping work areas clean throughout the shift. The position requires physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift items up to 50 pounds, and move safely across various surfaces, along with the ability to read detailed information and perform precise manual tasks.

Guest interaction and teamwork are built into the role. You'll welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, communicate professionally with colleagues and on the phone, and contribute to a collaborative environment where safety and quality are priorities. The job calls for reliability with company policies, attention to detail, and the professional appearance and discretion expected at a luxury hotel. No prior dining or hospitality experience is required, making this accessible to candidates new to the industry who are willing to learn and maintain Ritz-Carlton standards.
