About this role

At the University of Tennessee at Martin's Physical Plant, this stockroom role centers on the full cycle of inventory management—receiving and processing shipments, verifying orders, organizing materials, and fulfilling requisitions for campus departments. You'll maintain accurate records using Archibus software, conduct regular and year-end inventories, and flag any discrepancies between what's on hand and what the system shows. The position also involves vendor communication and occasional administrative work like data entry and work order processing.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of warehouse or inventory control experience and knows how maintenance and construction materials work. You'll need strong organizational skills, the ability to juggle multiple tasks, and a valid driver's license. While the role is primarily in-office at the stockroom, occasional evening and weekend hours may be required. When the supervisor is absent, you'll lead stockroom operations, so reliability and attention to detail matter.
