About this role
Ascension's Baltimore pharmacy position centers on clinical medication management in an inpatient hospital setting. You would be responsible for reviewing medication orders and patient profiles to catch and resolve drug-related issues before they reach patients, counseling them on adherence and therapeutic goals, and managing the compounding and dispensing workflow. This is clinical pharmacy work that demands both accuracy and direct patient interaction.
The role requires a Maryland pharmacy license and a bachelor's or advanced degree in pharmacy, with prior inpatient or hospital pharmacy experience preferred. You'll be working full-time on-site as part of Ascension, a large nonprofit Catholic health system. If you have hospital pharmacy background and want to continue that type of practice in a established health system environment, this is worth considering.
