About this role
Codec is seeking a Practice Lead to build and run their Project Management function as a high-performing, commercially viable practice. You would lead a team of Project and Portfolio Managers, oversee delivery across multiple engagements, and report to the Director of Consulting & Delivery Leadership while supporting the Chief Delivery Officer. The role sits at the intersection of people leadership, delivery governance, and business growth—balancing hands-on client work with strategic practice development, resource planning, and capability building across the team.
The position demands someone with substantial experience managing complex projects and leading delivery teams who can embed standards, drive adoption of AI-enabled tools, and create scalable frameworks that improve quality and consistency. You'd own practice utilisation and profitability, support sales activities through delivery expertise, and maintain visible leadership across client and internal teams. Equally important is your ability to coach and develop Project Managers, manage performance and succession planning, and identify capability gaps early to drive improvement.
This is a hybrid role based in Dublin suited to an experienced delivery or consulting leader ready to step into practice ownership—someone comfortable with both the operational detail of project governance and the strategic work of building organisational capability and client relationships.
