About this role

At J. Coopers Row, a 312-unit high-rise adjacent to Nationals Park in Washington, DC, the Leasing Professional serves as the frontline representative for Jefferson Apartment Group's property management operations. You'll handle the full leasing cycle—showing units across the building's mix of studios through three-bedroom apartments and townhomes, processing applications and lease paperwork, explaining lease terms to residents, and managing move-in logistics including fees and deposits. The role also involves marketing support, posting listings online, accepting rental payments, and handling resident relations tasks as they arise.

This position suits someone with customer service or sales experience who is comfortable with both administrative work and frequent face-to-face interaction. You'll need to be available weekends, walk units regularly to assess maintenance needs, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced office environment. A high school diploma is required; additional education or vocational training is preferred. The role demands physical activity—frequent walking and standing, occasional climbing and bending, and the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

Jefferson Apartment Group offers full-time employees medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, and potential rental discounts, along with performance-based bonus opportunities. The position is based in-office at $24–$26 per hour.
