About this role

Headkount is hiring brand advisors to represent multiple beauty and skincare lines at major retailers like Sephora and Ulta throughout the Seattle area. You'd work part-time on a W-2 basis, rotating across different brands and store locations rather than staying in one place—giving you variety while offering the scheduling predictability and benefits that traditional freelance work often lacks. The role requires weekend availability and reliable transportation to move between retail sites.

Your day-to-day involves driving sales for the brands you're assigned, educating store staff on products and selling techniques, setting up and supporting in-store events, and maintaining merchandising standards. Headkount provides hands-on training and ongoing brand education, plus coaching from a community of beauty professionals. You'll also complete brief post-shift surveys through their app to keep the team connected.

This position suits someone with at least two years of beauty industry experience—whether freelance, brand ambassador, or retail—who has a track record of hitting sales goals and enjoys educating others. You'll need a confident, professional demeanor, a smartphone for app-based communication, and the independence to manage your own schedule across multiple locations. The pay is $27–32 per hour depending on experience.
