About this role
Article is an online furniture company building a Voice of Customer program that goes beyond standard reporting. In this one-year contract role based in Vancouver, you'll synthesize customer feedback from reviews, surveys, claims data, and support interactions into strategic recommendations that directly influence product decisions, operational improvements, and business strategy. You'll own the taxonomy frameworks and sentiment tools within Chattermill, working as an embedded partner with leaders across customer care, logistics, ecommerce, quality, and category management to ensure customer insights actually drive change rather than sit in dashboards.
The role demands someone who combines business acumen with genuine customer empathy—you need to understand unit economics and operational trade-offs, not just analyze data. You'll translate complex sentiment into executive briefs and functional recommendations, build credibility across cross-functional teams, and act as a consultant to internal stakeholders. This is a strategic business partner position, not a passive analyst role. Success means elevating the VoC engine into a core business driver and demonstrating measurable influence on key initiatives within the year.
You should have background in customer research, market insights, or Voice of Customer programs, with proven ability to balance qualitative storytelling with quantitative rigor. The hybrid schedule is based in Vancouver HQ; remote work outside the city isn't an option. The salary range is $90,000–$110,000 for the fixed 12-month term.
