About this role
Leading vulnerability and exposure management at enterprise scale requires someone who can operate fluently across strategy and execution. At Acturhire, this Senior Director role demands a leader with 10+ years in information security or technology risk, including at least seven years managing large, complex vulnerability programs across global organizations. You'd oversee multi-disciplinary, geographically distributed teams while translating sophisticated technical risk into business language for executives and boards. The position calls for deep expertise in vulnerability management, application security, cloud environments, and modern software delivery—paired with the ability to drive transformation across people, process, and technology, including vendor rationalization and tool consolidation.
This is fundamentally a role for someone who can move a program from operational maturity to strategic, outcome-driven impact. You'll need a data-driven mindset, hands-on knowledge of risk-based prioritization and threat intelligence, and proven experience in regulated industries such as financial services or insurance, where you've engaged directly with regulators and auditors. Familiarity with frameworks like NIST CSF, ISO 27001, or FAIR, plus experience with continuous exposure management models and ServiceNow workflows, would strengthen your candidacy. Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISM are preferred.
The role is full-time, in-office in Charlotte, North Carolina, with a base salary of $180,000–$240,000 and eligibility for an annual short-term incentive bonus. WTW offers comprehensive health, retirement, and leave benefits. Note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
