About this role
Supporting AccuWeather TV customers means being the technical backbone for roughly 100 broadcast operations that depend on reliable weather graphics and data systems. You'll handle the full spectrum of customer issues—from software glitches to hardware failures to system configuration problems—via phone, email, and remote support. The work demands both technical depth and strong communication skills, since you'll be troubleshooting everything from on-air graphics failures to data delivery problems while keeping customers informed and operations running smoothly.
This role requires genuine on-call availability across a 24/7 support schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. You'll also travel occasionally to install systems, train customers, and demonstrate products at trade shows. The position suits someone with at least a year of PC or Mac support experience who can stay calm under pressure—broadcast environments don't tolerate downtime—and who can translate technical problems into clear language for both meteorologists and IT staff. Broadcast systems, graphics platforms, or weather data experience is preferred but not required if you have strong troubleshooting fundamentals and the willingness to develop domain expertise.
