About this role

BAYADA Home Health Care's Laurel Highlands office is seeking a registered nurse for private duty work—a role centered on one-on-one client care rather than the typical home health visit model. You'd work traditional shifts (4s, 8s, 10s, or 12s) in a client's home, executing physician orders, performing assessments, documenting care, and building ongoing relationships with your patient. The position offers genuine scheduling flexibility with no minimum hours required, whether you're looking for full-time, part-time, or per diem work.

The role calls for a current RN license in good standing and graduation from an accredited nursing program—standard credentials for the position. Pay ranges from $26 to $34 per hour depending on your qualifications, shift preferences, and the complexity of the client's care needs. BAYADA emphasizes their onboarding process, including paid orientation, a paired first visit to the client home, and ongoing training and development opportunities. Part-time employees receive preventive care coverage; full-time staff also get medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, PTO, paid holidays, 401(k) matching, employer-paid life insurance, and access to scholarship programs.

This opportunity suits nurses who value autonomy, consistent one-on-one relationships with clients, and scheduling control. BAYADA has been recognized by Newsweek and Forbes for workplace quality and is an equal opportunity employer actively welcoming applications from people of all backgrounds.
