About this role

Ascension's Patient Care Tech Float position in Baltimore offers entry-level clinical support work within a large nonprofit health system. You would assist nursing staff across assigned areas, helping patients with personal care and daily activities, managing room cleanliness and equipment, and reporting observations about patient conditions to the nursing team. The role combines direct patient interaction with housekeeping and logistical responsibilities.

To qualify, you need a Maryland Nurse Aide credential before your start date and must obtain BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross) within your first month. A high school diploma or equivalent is the baseline education requirement, though one year of relevant job experience can substitute. This role suits someone seeking hands-on healthcare experience in a structured hospital environment with the support of a large, established organization.
