About this role

Respire Homecare Services is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver in-home care for patients managing chronic respiratory conditions including COPD, asthma, CHF, and ventilator or tracheostomy needs. You'll conduct patient assessments, provide direct treatment, and educate patients and caregivers on equipment use and safety—all while coordinating closely with physicians, nurses, and case managers to support safe transitions from hospital to home and ensure continuity of care. The role is field-based and remote, requiring regular travel to patient homes alongside substantial documentation and computer work.

This position suits someone with an RRT or CRT license, current BLS certification, and ideally prior experience in home health, subacute care, or pulmonary rehabilitation. You'll need to work independently in the field while staying connected to the broader care team, manage insurance requirements across Medicare, Medicaid, and private plans, and have the capacity to supervise clinical personnel when needed. Strong communication and patient education skills are essential, as is the ability to monitor patient progress, report changes promptly, and support patients in managing their health independently where appropriate.

Respire offers competitive compensation of $38–45 per hour based on experience and location, comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with employer match, life insurance, paid time off, a company-provided car, and a sign-on bonus. The organization emphasizes a mission-driven culture centered on whole-person wellness and dignity, with opportunities for career growth.
