About this role
Helpr is placing a full-time nanny with an East Village family who need reliable, experienced infant care starting mid-November. You'd be the primary caregiver for a 4-month-old Monday through Friday, 8AM–5PM (occasionally until 6PM), handling feeding, diaper changes, meal prep, light housekeeping, and daily stroller walks that include the family's friendly dog. The role is long-term, and while the parents occasionally work from home, you'd have substantial responsibility for the child's day-to-day care and routine. The household is on the 6th floor, so comfort with stairs is essential.
This position suits someone with at least two years of professional infant care experience and current CPR certification (or willingness to get certified). You'll need to be legally authorized to work in the U.S., provide two professional childcare references, and pass background and social media screening. A valid driver's license or passport is required for ID purposes.
The compensation is $27–$30 per hour with overtime pay for hours beyond 40 per week; the family anticipates 45–50 hours weekly. You'd receive two weeks of paid vacation annually, an additional two weeks at 50% pay when the family travels, three to five sick or personal days, and paid federal holidays, plus guaranteed weekly hours.
