You'll handle service and MOT bookings, advise customers on warranty and accessories, coordinate with technicians and service staff to schedule work, and maintain accurate records across dealer systems. The role demands strong communication skills, the ability to explain technical information clearly, and genuine enthusiasm for customer service—you'll be fielding phone calls, online queries, and in-person visits daily while keeping customers informed throughout their vehicle's time in the workshop.
The ideal candidate has prior experience in automotive service advisory or a similar customer-facing dealership role, ideally with familiarity of Kerridge or ADP systems. You should be energetic, personable, and capable of working both as part of a team and independently. A £32,000 base salary with up to £6,000 OTE reflects the role's sales element. The position is permanent and based on-site in Stoke-on-Trent, running Monday to Friday 8:30–18:00, plus Saturday mornings on rotation.
Lookers offers structured progression within a major UK automotive retailer, backed by manufacturer training, competitive leave that increases with service, enhanced family leave, and a comprehensive benefits package including health and wellbeing support, gym discounts, and retail perks.
