About this role
The City of Liverpool College is seeking an Enrichment Officer to lead student-centred extra-curricular programming across the college. You'll partner with the Students' Union, internal departments and external organisations to design and deliver clubs, societies, volunteering initiatives, trips, enterprise activities and cultural events. The role places genuine emphasis on student voice—students will be involved in planning, delivering and evaluating activities rather than simply attending them.
Your day-to-day work involves coordinating multiple projects simultaneously, from supporting student-led clubs to organising trips and running employability-focused activities. You'll gather feedback to measure impact, manage participation data, handle promotional communications across digital channels, and ensure all activities meet safeguarding and health and safety standards. The position requires flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends when activities take place.
This role suits someone with prior experience working with young people in education, youth work or community settings, and a track record of planning and delivering enrichment programmes. You'll need Level 4 education (degree or equivalent), strong organisational skills, the ability to motivate diverse groups, and genuine commitment to student wellbeing and personal development. The post is permanent but term-time only, working 35 hours per week across 40 weeks, based in Liverpool.
