Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic BIM Lead to lead multidisciplinary BIM projects for international clients and manage a team of 15-20 BIM professionals. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical BIM expertise, project management capabilities, client-facing experience, and leadership skills to ensure successful project delivery while maintaining quality, timelines, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
BIM Project Leadership
- Lead and manage BIM projects for international clients across various sectors including commercial, residential, healthcare, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
- Develop and implement BIM execution plans (BEPs), workflows, standards, and quality assurance processes.
- Oversee BIM model creation, coordination, clash detection, and project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with client standards, industry best practices, and project requirements.
- Drive BIM innovation and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Project Management
- Plan, execute, monitor, and close BIM projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Prepare project schedules, resource plans, effort estimations, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Track project performance using KPIs and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Manage project budgets, resource utilization, and profitability targets.
- Conduct regular project reviews and provide progress reports to stakeholders and management.
Team Management & Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 15-20 BIM Engineers, Coordinators, and Modelers.
- Allocate resources effectively across multiple projects.
- Conduct performance reviews, training sessions, and career development discussions.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance, and learning-oriented team culture.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and capability-building initiatives.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for international clients.
- Participate in client meetings, project discussions, and technical reviews.
- Build long-term relationships with clients through exceptional service delivery.
- Understand client requirements and translate them into project execution strategies.
- Manage expectations and proactively address project challenges.
Quality & Process Excellence
- Establish and enforce BIM standards and quality control procedures.
- Conduct regular model audits and quality assessments.
- Ensure adherence to ISO processes and organizational best practices.
- Drive automation and efficiency improvements using BIM technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in BIM project delivery within the AEC industry.
- Demonstrated experience handling international BIM projects.
- Proven experience managing and mentoring teams of 15-20 resources.
- Strong project management and client management experience.

This role sits at the intersection of technical expertise and people leadership—you'd oversee the full lifecycle of BIM projects across commercial, residential, healthcare, and infrastructure sectors while managing a team of 15–20 engineers, coordinators, and modelers. Success means delivering projects on time and within budget, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement in BIM processes and workflows.
The position demands deep hands-on knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, clash detection, and BIM execution planning, paired with the ability to translate client requirements into executable project strategies. You'll be responsible for establishing BIM standards, conducting model audits, managing common data environments, and ensuring compliance with both client specifications and ISO processes. At the same time, you'll need strong project management skills—resource planning, budget tracking, KPI monitoring, and stakeholder reporting—and the leadership capability to mentor your team, foster collaboration, and support their professional development.
This is a full-time, in-office role in Pune suited to someone with 8+ years of BIM delivery experience, a track record managing international projects and larger teams, and the confidence to serve as the primary client contact. If you combine technical depth in the Autodesk suite with genuine project and people leadership experience, this role offers the scope to shape both delivery excellence and team capability.
