About this role

True Anomaly is building the manufacturing finance function for a spacecraft and payload production operation from the ground up, and this temporary role offers the chance to establish that foundation before volumes scale. You would own financial planning, forecasting, and cost structures across all production operations—from overhead rates and capital expenditures to bill of materials and procurement—while serving as a strategic finance partner to manufacturing, supply chain, and facilities leadership. As the role grows, you'll build and lead a team of manufacturing finance professionals.

This position calls for 8–12 years of finance experience with substantial hands-on ownership of manufacturing or operations finance, plus demonstrated skill building financial infrastructure, managing cost frameworks, and working closely with supply chain on purchasing controls. Aerospace or defense background is strongly preferred, and experience at a scaling or early-stage company is a plus. You'll need to be comfortable with manufacturing cost mechanics—overhead rates, bill of materials, variances, capital planning—and strong at bottoms-up forecasting and FP&A fundamentals. The role demands someone who can challenge operational leaders directly and ground business decisions in cost reality.

The position is based in Denver, Colorado, requires in-office work, and offers a salary range of $130,000–$200,000 plus equity, comprehensive healthcare, flexible time off, and other standard benefits. Note that this is a temporary role, so it is not eligible for the company's standard benefits package as described.
