About this role

Blackbird Health is hiring provisionally licensed therapists to deliver evidence-based care to children, adolescents, and young adults at their McCandless Township office. You'd work within an interdisciplinary team that takes a whole-child approach, examining how brain, body, and behavior interact. The role includes full clinical supervision and structured support toward independent licensure, which is central to the position's design.

The company offers three employment structures with different schedules and compensation. The full-time W2 option provides $60,000 base salary with a standard benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, PTO, and 11 paid holidays), requiring 28 direct care hours weekly across a 4-day schedule in evening shifts (12 PM–8 PM or 1 PM–9 PM). Part-time and 1099 contractor options exist as well, with pay ranging from $35,000 to $70 per session depending on licensure level and structure. All positions require 100% onsite attendance, availability after 3 PM on weekdays and/or weekends, and at least one year of experience with children and adolescents. You'll need an active Pennsylvania license (LSW, LAPC, or MFT-intern status) or be a pre-licensed candidate working toward independent licensure.

This role suits someone seeking clinical hours toward licensure while working within a clinician-led organization that emphasizes collaboration and comprehensive pediatric mental health care across multiple states.
