About this role

Leading civil infrastructure projects at Keeley Construction means owning the full lifecycle from estimating through completion—scheduling, quality control, cost management, safety, and design coordination all fall under your purview. You'll manage multiple concurrent projects while overseeing a team of project engineers, assistant project managers, and field staff, mentoring them through challenges and growth opportunities. The role also pulls you into business development, proposal meetings, and subcontractor selection, requiring you to balance technical expertise with financial acumen and relationship-building across owners, design professionals, and vendors.

This position calls for eight years of hands-on project management experience in civil construction, ideally with exposure to structural concrete, excavation, utilities, wastewater, and earthwork. A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is required. You'll need strong financial forecasting skills, the ability to identify and mitigate project risks, and proficiency with standard office software. Travel as needed is part of the expectation, and the role is based in St. Louis with in-office work required.

Keeley Construction positions this as a career destination with advancement opportunities and a family-oriented culture. If you have the construction background and want to step into a senior leadership role with real P&L responsibility and team oversight, this is worth considering.
