About this role

Cottonwood Highland Apartments is hiring a hands-on maintenance technician to keep the community running smoothly. You'll handle a range of repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and grounds work, responding to resident requests during standard hours and on-call for after-hours emergencies. The role demands physical stamina—you'll be climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and accessing tight spaces regularly—along with the ability to read technical manuals, communicate clearly with residents, and work weekends and evenings as needed.

The position suits someone with a practical maintenance background and a valid driver's license. HVAC troubleshooting experience, EPA Type II or Universal certification, or CPO certification would strengthen your candidacy, though they're not required to start. Cottonwood Residential offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, life, and disability) available within your first month, a 401k match with HSA, and three weeks of paid time off plus 10.5 holidays in year one.
