About this role
True Anomaly is building autonomous spacecraft and advanced space capabilities for the U.S. military, and this Quality Engineer role sits at the center of ensuring those systems meet rigorous standards. You'd inspect hardware throughout production, manage compliance with aerospace certifications like AS9100 and ISO9001, and work directly with manufacturing, engineering, and suppliers to catch issues early and drive continuous improvement. This is a hands-on position that combines technical inspection work—using calipers, micrometers, and gauges—with process leadership and cross-functional problem-solving.
The role demands five or more years in aerospace quality engineering, solid familiarity with measuring tools and production equipment, and experience navigating non-conformance reporting and supplier audits. You'll need strong attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints and spot trends in data, and communication skills to advise teams at all levels when results fall short. This is a temporary, fully in-office position in Denver paying $100,000–$130,000 depending on your specific level and background.
If you thrive in regulated manufacturing environments, have a track record solving quality problems under pressure, and want to contribute directly to space defense capabilities, this could be a strong fit. Note that U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required due to ITAR export controls.
