Description
About this role
Sarver Streeter Orthodontics in Vestavia Hills is hiring a Records Technician to support their treatment coordinator and clinical team. You'd be the backbone of patient record management and room operations—taking X-rays and photos, fabricating retainers, maintaining organized and sterilized treatment spaces, and ensuring accurate documentation of doctor notes. The role also puts you directly in front of patients, so building trust and delivering friendly, professional service is central to the work.
This position is designed for someone ready to develop skills on the job. While prior orthodontic experience is a plus, it's not required; the practice values initiative, adaptability, and a genuine interest in patient care over background. You'll need solid communication skills, attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to take coaching from the clinical team. Basic computer competency (Microsoft Office and web browsers) and a high school diploma or equivalent round out the requirements.
If you're looking to break into or grow within orthodontics, this full-time, in-office role offers clear room to advance into positions with greater clinical responsibility based on your performance and development.
