We have a Weekday Start of Care Registered Nurse opportunity open now doing home health Start of Care visits in Montgomery County, Maryland.
This position is full time or part time and visits will be done Monday through Friday during the hours of 8:30am-5pm.

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:
- Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patient's needs
- Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories
- Perform assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures
- Monitor clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager
- Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
- Perform client assessments as necessary
- Case management and coordination
- Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet
Qualifications for a Registered Nurse (RN):
- A current license as a Registered Nurse in MD.
- A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
- Prior home care experience strongly preferred, but not required.
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
- Ability to travel to cases as assigned.

Additional Information:
Base Pay, depending upon qualifications:
$55.00-$62.00 per point.

About this role
BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring a part-time Start of Care Registered Nurse to conduct initial home health assessments and establish care plans for clients across Montgomery County, Maryland. You'll work weekday hours between 8:30am and 5pm with a flexible schedule, visiting patients in their homes to perform nursing duties including medication administration, wound care, client assessments, and documentation of observations and interventions. The role emphasizes independent work and time management, with support from clinical and client services managers as needed.
To qualify, you'll need a current Maryland RN license and at least one year of recent clinical experience in a medical or surgical setting. Home care experience is strongly preferred but not required. You should be comfortable working independently, managing your own caseload across assigned territories, and using electronic medical records on a tablet device. Strong interpersonal and computer skills are essential.
