About this role
Kharon, a rapidly growing fintech security firm in Denver, is looking for an IT Systems Engineer to build and maintain infrastructure for a globally distributed team. You'd split your time between the Denver office (minimum three days weekly) and remote support, handling everything from day-to-day staff assistance to white-glove executive support across macOS and Windows environments. The role spans device management (Jamf and Intune), identity and access (Okta), network administration (Cisco Meraki and UniFi), and security compliance—meaning you'd own the full stack of IT operations for a company scaling rapidly.
This position suits someone with at least five years of hands-on systems administration experience, ideally in a distributed or multi-office setting. You'll need strong macOS chops with Jamf certification preferred, solid Windows management via Intune, and real comfort with Okta administration and zero-trust networking tools like Tailscale. Scripting ability in Bash, Python, or AppsScript is expected; the job description explicitly values your ability to use AI tools to accelerate automation and documentation. Networking fundamentals and experience with endpoint security, access governance, and audit readiness round out the core skill set.
The compensation runs $125,000 to $150,000 base, with full medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401k matching with immediate vesting, flexible PTO, and 11 paid holidays. You'd be joining a mission-driven organization focused on global risk intelligence, working alongside a team described as visionary and uncompromising—a good fit if you want technical depth, ownership of infrastructure, and the chance to scale systems alongside a high-growth company.
