About this role
The Resource Group, Ascension's supply chain partner for healthcare organizations, is hiring a Summer 2027 intern to support field operations in Austin. You'd spend most of your time onsite (Monday through Thursday, with optional Friday remote work) assisting with inventory management, product flow, and operational activities across healthcare facilities. The role centers on data analysis and reporting—you'll work with ERP systems, Excel, Tableau, and Google Workspace to track trends, build dashboards, and help inform operational decisions. You'll also collaborate with field teams on process improvement projects and present findings to support business recommendations.
This internship suits someone pursuing or recently completed coursework in supply chain, operations, or business who wants hands-on experience in healthcare logistics. You'll need reliable transportation to the Austin facility for the duration of the program, which runs from May 17, 2027 onward. A high school diploma or equivalent is the baseline requirement, though the program prefers college juniors and above. If you're comfortable with data tools and interested in how supply chain operations directly support patient care delivery, this is a structured way to explore the field within a large, established healthcare system.
