About this role

Pulse Healthcare is recruiting an MSK Foot Lead Podiatrist for a three-month part-time contract at North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust, starting as soon as possible. You would work at Band 7 level, taking on a senior clinical and educational role within the podiatry service. This position suits an experienced practitioner ready to lead: you'll assess and treat complex musculoskeletal foot conditions across both adult and pediatric populations, manage intricate cases independently, and mentor junior team members while contributing to service development.

To succeed, you'll need HCPC registration, a degree in podiatry, and specialist qualifications including Local Anesthetic certification, IR(ME)R certification, and competency in steroid injection therapy. Substantial NHS podiatry experience managing lower limb musculoskeletal pathology is essential, as is the clinical judgment and leadership capability to work autonomously with difficult caseloads and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams. The hourly rate is competitive and dependent on your experience.
