Our Poconos Pediatrics Office is interested in a nurse who has a passion for care to join our Skilled Nursing team. We believe our clients and their families deserve the highest quality care delivered with compassion, excellence, and reliability.

Our Kunkletown-based client is looking for someone who has experience (or is willing to learn) with Achondroplasia. There is a hoyer lift in place. Both day shift and night shift hours available; 8 hour shifts!

Qualifications for a private duty nurse:
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state

About this role
BAYADA's Poconos Pediatrics office is seeking an LPN for private duty nursing with a pediatric client in Kunkletown who has Achondroplasia. This is a one-on-one care role where you'll work traditional 8-hour shifts—either day or night—at a single client's home, building an ongoing relationship rather than rotating between multiple patients. Your responsibilities include executing and documenting physician orders, performing assessments, monitoring the client's condition, and maintaining detailed records of observations and interventions. A Hoyer lift is already in place to support safe care delivery.
The role requires a current Pennsylvania nursing license and completion of an accredited nursing program. While experience with Achondroplasia is preferred, BAYADA indicates willingness to train someone without prior exposure to this condition. You'll have autonomy in the home setting and flexibility in choosing your schedule within the available shifts.
